Random [08 May 2006|10:23pm] [ mood | annoyed ] [ music | nothing ] Well I really should be doing school I am SOOOOOOOO far behind. I just got farther and farther behind over the last few weeks. Beth another thing you should be happy about lol. I am watchign Pride and Prejudice. I am ready for the third one. Its great. I love the way Lizzie alwasy has a half smile on her face lol. I have to do three days of school for each one so Im gonna have to work for the rest. I actually managed to play Hannah's sympathy to get her to give me the second one lol. I had only done 2 days of school. Then I asked for teh next one and she was like no you haven't done enough school ;lo;. Wish me luick Ket 18 remembered| give a thought

Alrighty then where should I start.... the beginning I guess [26 Apr 2006|10:54pm] [ mood | apathetic ] [ music | muted talking from downstairs ] Wow I really am not sure where to start. HMMMMM Okay I guess I will start on Sun. night and everything with my feelings and pretty much everything that has happened in the last few days. This may be very very boring to some of you. Okay before I do anything of what I said above I will say thanks for all of the prayers and E-Hugs that I have gotten from all of you. Thanks all of you. Every time I read them I think of how sweet you guys are. Sun. night- Hannah stayed home with dad while the rest of us went to church, she moved dad to his chair and bathed him and everything. Later she said that he was normal he held on to the bar when she rolled him and squeezed her hand and stuff. Then while Hannah and Clark and Martha and I went to play basketball at the Comm. Center {Which by the way Hannah and Martha beat the snot out of Clark and I the first game, then we played full court for two and Clark and I won}. When we came back mom said that dad had thrown up. Later when they moved him back to bed he threw up again. Martha said she had never ever seen any one look so green in her life. We went to bed not really worried, or at least I did. Mon. morning thru Mon. night- Charlene the Hospice Nurse came and said that since he had thrown up it was probably the beginning of the end. His kidneys were probably shutting down. Marilyn came over that day to measure Martha for a funeral dress. And they stayed all day, pretty much. Later that day his breathing started getting really raspy. I couldn’t stand to be in the room with him. It reminded me so much of when Grandma was dying. It was the most horrible sound in the world. To be honest the way I felt I didn’t really “feel” anything that day {probably not believing}. Our preacher and his wife stayed till probably 10 Pm. By that time I could barely stand to be in the house at all. Clark told me that I could sleep on the couch in their house if I wanted to get out. Hannah was gonna be up at the house with dad all night. I watched cartoons till about 12 AM then I went to bed thinking that if dad was breathing to loudly then I would go down to Hannah’s and sleep. Luckily by the time I went to bed and read my Bible and stuff I was so tired that I was asleep right away. Dorcas and Raun and Nick were on their way up. And Pete was gonna come on Tues. evening. Mom’s family had come that day. Tues. morning 6 Am and all day- Hannah came up stairs and told me that dad had just died. It was around 5:45 AM. My first thought was that dad wasn’t in pain anymore. Then I went back to sleep I could here everybody else downstairs talking. I slept till 10 Am. I slept through Charlene coming and the undertaker {which I am glad}. Then I got up and there was nothing real. It was very strange. First I had slept till 10 then when I got down stairs I didn’t have to get dressed. We sat for a while. Then I realized Clark didn’t go to work. We watched the beginning of Liar Liar then Glenda came. Hannah and Martha and I went to the chicken house and gathered eggs very very slowly. Dorcas and Raun got here finally. By that time the day had dragged on forever. We went to the funeral home to have a meeting. Marilyn and Lynette and Jenn had come that day to. We picked out a coffin and stuff. Wed. We all slept in a while then I had to get up and get dressed very quickly to go to Lynette’s house to get measured for my dress. Later we went back and the dress was to tight around the waist so she couldn’t hem it. We went to see dad at the funeral home. It was very strange. None of this feels real. We went to town to get shoes and stuff. The funeral is Fri. at 11 am. The viewing is tomorrow night 6-8 pm. There is so much to do that it is just overwhelming. None of this feels real. Seeing dad didn’t seem real. Sometimes I wonder if I am not another person and this is all a horrible dream that another person is having and that person just isn’t waking up and I can’t remember anything about that other person. I pinch myself and I know it is real. I mean who has a dream that you grow up in? I know that it will feel real when I see the grave and all of that stuff, but right now it just isn’t real. I don’t feel anything. I haven’t cried at all. I feel kinda heartless. I just don’t know whether what I am feeling is right. Am I supposed to be feeling something else? Should I be crying all the time. Should I be laughing? When I laugh right now is it okay. Is it heartless to be laughing when your father has just died? Am I wrong to not feel anything? I have innumerable questions. Believe me none of you are supposed to answer those questions unless you want to. Well how have all of you been? Pixie had kittens 4 of them. They are adorable. Nick loves them to death. When he sees them he says meow. He is soooooooooo cute! 16 remembered| give a thought

I was asleep and I was allowed to sleep till 10:00 Am, I haven't been allowed to sleep in that long in a while. Ok [24 Apr 2006|09:36pm] [ mood | apathetic ] [ music | im not sure ] ALRIGHT I CAN"T FIGURE OUT HOW TO HEAD THIS IN BIG LETTER WITHOUT SOUNDING DUMB SO I WILL SAY RIGHT HERE THAT THIS IS STUFF ABOUT MY DAD AND THAT IT MAY SLIGHTLY SHOCK YOU.  Okay well good news first. I figured out how to put the username symbol in front of someone's name when I am tagging them.  Okay bad news. Dad took a drastic turn for the worst on Sunday night. He threw up and other stuff. I don't really know. I just know that this morning the hospice nurse came and that she said that we are very close to the end. She said that his blood pressure was very low. And that she could barely hear his heart beat because of congestion in his lungs. He started throwing up the stuff in his lungs. It appears that his kidneys are shutting down. His breathing is VERY VERY VERy raspy, like you can hear the bubbling in his lungs every time he takes a breath. I cannot bare to be in the room with him because of the way he breathes. It might sound cruel and heartless but I can't stand beign near him because of the noise that he makes when he breathes. So in conclusion I guess my news is that Dad will probably die pretty soon. Within the next week, most likely. Ket     15 remembered| give a thought
